On Monday morning, Brian Doback, the interim men’s golf coach at La Salle University, unveiled the spring schedule for the Explorers’ golf team in 2024. The schedule is set to feature three distinct invitationals, culminating in a journey to Florida for the highly anticipated Atlantic 10 Championships in April.

The spring season will kick off with a trip to New York at the Rum Point Golf Club for the Battle at Rum Point, hosted by Iona. Scheduled to commence on Friday, March 29th, the event will consist of an 18-hole round, followed by another 18-hole round on Saturday.
In the second week of March, the team will embark on their next outing, participating in the Drexel Dragon Match Play Invitational. Taking place on April 8th and 9th, the Explorers will engage in 36 holes of play on Monday, followed by an additional 18 holes on Tuesday.
As the regular season draws to a close, La Salle will journey to the Lulu Country Club to partake in the Villanova Wildcat Spring Invitational, commencing on April 15th. This invitational will span two days, concluding on the following day, with the Explorers competing in 18 holes of play each day.
For the highly anticipated Atlantic 10 Championships, La Salle will make the trip to Orlando, Florida, on April 26th for the opening day of competition. The championships, slated to run until Sunday, April 28th, will see the Explorers navigating the challenging terrain of the Evermore Golf Club, engaging in 18 holes of play each day throughout the event.
