Notably, Utah had struggled on the road, failing to secure a victory away from home since defeating the Charlotte Hornets on January 27 before the trade deadline.

The Warriors, on the other hand, boasted a 42-35 record, with a balanced 19-19 performance at home. Prior to hosting the Jazz, Golden State had won six of their previous seven games.

Having faced off twice earlier in the season, both matches held in Salt Lake City, the Warriors emerged victorious on both occasions, first on February 12 and then again on February 15.

The regular season will conclude with the Jazz and Warriors squaring off once more on April 14 at the Chase Center at 1:30 p.m. (MT).
