A look at the UK’s beleaguered semiconductor industry, which has withered since the 1980s, and efforts to revive domestic production amid a global supply crunch  —  Richard Rogers’ buildings are known for their inside-out architecture.  The Inmos microprocessor factory in Newport, south Wales, completed in 1982, is no exception.
