Ariana Grande Creative Christmas Decor Pays Tribute to Boyfriend Ethan Slater”
Ariana Grande has adorned her Christmas decorations with a special nod to her boyfriend, Ethan Slater. The Grammy-winning singer, aged 30, shared a carousel of photos on Instagram, featuring a unique Spam can ornament hanging on a wall Christmas tree crafted from green garland.
The Spam can ornament is a delightful reference to “Spamalot,” the Tony-winning musical adaptation of Monty Python and The Holy Grail, currently enjoying a revival on Broadway with Slater, aged 31, in various roles. Grande, a steadfast supporter of the show, has attended multiple performances at the St. James Theatre in New York City, capturing moments on her Instagram, cheering Slater on during the Halloween preview and attending the Broadway musical’s opening night on November 15.

The singer also posted selfies on her Instagram Story, capturing moments from the Spamalot audience on Thursday. Grande and Slater’s romance blossomed off-screen after they met on the set of the upcoming movie adaptation of “Wicked.”
Confirmed by PEOPLE in July, their relationship started following Grande’s separation from husband Dalton Gomez and Slater’s separation from wife Lilly Jay. Grande and Gomez finalized their divorce in October after two years of marriage.
Both Grande and Slater share a passion for musical theater, with Slater making his Broadway debut in 2017 as the title character in “SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical,” and Grande kickstarting her career on Broadway in Jason Robert Brown’s 2008 musical “13.”
Despite their shared love for musical theater, Grande and Slater have not made a red carpet debut together. In “Wicked,” Slater portrays Boq, a Munchkin enamored with Glinda, played by Grande. However, their on-screen dynamic differs from their off-screen love story.
Production on the film adaptation of “Wicked,” scheduled to be released in two parts, experienced a pause during a writer’s strike with only 10 days of shooting left. Despite the delay, it hasn’t impacted the release dates, with Wicked Part 1 set to hit theaters on November 27, 2024, and Part 2 on November 26, 2025.
