Social Media Speculation: Did Hendy Dave and Buster’s Leak the Super Bowl Script?”
In a TikTok video posted by user Hendy on January 26, he claims that popular entertainment venue Dave and Buster’s may have leaked the script for the Super Bowl. In the video, Hendy points to a poster advertising a “Big Game Watch party” at Dave and Buster’s on Sunday, February 11, featuring a match between Baltimore and San Francisco.

However, as per the NFL schedule, Baltimore still needs to play against Kansas City, and San Francisco against Detroit.
The video has gained significant attention, amassing over 1.2 million views, with commenters speculating about the situation. Some users shared similar sightings of Super Bowl-related items, such as cakes at a grocery store, with the same teams featured. Others argued that the NFL produces merchandise and promotional material for all possible outcomes in advance to quickly release them after the game.
Despite the social media buzz, a closer look at the poster reveals a QR code leading to an Eventbrite page. The page promotes the Dave and Buster’s event with the same design as the poster but includes a disclaimer in the event description: “The BIG GAME 58 Watch Party, Baltimore vs San Francisco (Subject-to-Change).” This suggests that the poster is part of promotional material and not indicative of any scripted Super Bowl outcome.
While conspiracy theories occasionally surface, there is no evidence supporting the idea that the NFL is staged or scripted. While sports events have been found to be fixed in the past, the lack of any indication of rigging in the NFL and the absence of supporting evidence cast doubt on such speculations. The Daily Dot has reached out to Hendy and Dave and Buster’s for comments on the matter.
