JetBlue Unveils Budget-Friendly Routes to Dublin and Edinburgh
JetBlue Unveils Budget-Friendly Routes to Dublin and Edinburgh JetBlue, the airline that decided to take its talents across the pond to London last year, seems to be having a grand old time overseas. In a move that’s got us thinking they might be considering moving their headquarters to Europe (just kidding), they’ve added not one, but two more transatlantic routes. So, what’s the deal?

New Destinations for Your Travel Wishlist
This time, JetBlue is taking off from New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Boston’s Logan Airport, heading straight for the Emerald Isle (Dublin, Ireland) and the land of kilts and bagpipes (Edinburgh, Scotland).
These new routes mark the airline’s fourth and fifth transatlantic destinations, joining the ranks of London, Paris, and Amsterdam. Talk about making a splash across the Atlantic!
Flights to Dublin from both New York and Boston are set to kick off on March 13, while the flights from the Big Apple to the Scottish capital will start on May 22. As for booking your tickets, you don’t have to twiddle your thumbs – you can start doing that right now.
High Fares Beware! JetBlue is in Town
Robin Hayes, the head honcho of JetBlue, had something to say about all this transatlantic fun. He couldn’t help but brag a bit: “The success of our transatlantic service proves customers don’t have to choose between great service and low fares and can have them both with our award-winning Mint and core products.”
You go, Robin! He also promised that the airline’s summer seasonal service to Dublin and Edinburgh will bring a “new level of service and affordable fares” to these markets that have been under the thumb of high-fare legacy carriers for decades. So, if you’ve been dreaming of an Irish summer or a Scottish adventure, you’re in luck.
Bonjour Paris! A Second Helping, Please
But that’s not all, folks! JetBlue is spreading its love for Europe even further. They’re set to launch a Boston to Paris route, and if you can’t get enough of the City of Light, they’ve got you covered.
The new year-round flights from Boston to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris will kick off on April 3. Plus, a second daily flight from JFK to CDG will grace the skies on June 20, 2024. So, if you’ve got a penchant for croissants and the Eiffel Tower, JetBlue’s got your back.
Spirit Airlines, the Court is Calling
Now, as JetBlue takes over the transatlantic skies, they’re also awaiting their day in court to determine the fate of their merger with Spirit Airlines. Who knew airlines could have court dates? Well, it’s not exactly a courtroom drama, but it’s a merger that’s causing a bit of turbulence in the airline world.
So, there you have it, folks. JetBlue is making waves across the Atlantic, bringing more travel options, lower fares, and a dash of humor to the skies. Bon voyage!
