The Versa’s virtues are rejuvenated with a captivating design, enhanced technology, and outstanding safety features. As an entry-level sedan, it boasts ample dimensions, providing a spacious interior without sacrificing comfort and affordability for versatility and safety.

The rear view reveals a sleek aesthetic, complementing the refreshed interior, which now includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift knob, Nissan Intelligent Key, and Automatic Climate Control. The stitched leather dashboard and premium cloth seats showcase the Versa’s character, although a longer armrest and increased front storage would be welcome additions.

The safety foundation is fortified by Nissan Safety Shield 360, encompassing Intelligent Mobility features such as Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Intelligent Driver Alertness, and Intelligent Cruise Control.

Under the hood, the advanced 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine, paired with the gearless Xtronic CVT, delivers surprising torque and efficiency, achieving up to 39 mpg on the highway. With 122 max horsepower and 114 lb.-ft. of peak torque, the Versa handles robustly, excelling in curves and straightaways alike.

The interior’s 60/40 split fold-down rear seat enhances flexibility for passengers and cargo, while the expansive pass-through accommodates tall and wide items. The Lane Departure Warning technology ensures a safe driving experience with excellent visibility for all occupants.

Priced starting at $18,240 for the top-of-the-line SR with Xtronic CVT, the Versa serves as an excellent “starter car,” offering a balance of affordability and quality. The warranty package includes a 3-year/36,000-mile limited vehicle coverage, a 5-year/60,000-mile limited powertrain coverage, and a 3-year/36,000-mile Nissan Roadside Assistance.
